posted that gun picked a good time to post a Skeeter Skelton gun as Skeeter's son, Bart, died just recently and I assume Bart was the only one that could confirm or deny what was written about the gun. Sheer coincidence I'm sure.

The story I got was hearsay. A second Gen Colt is not cheap but that is too high for a piece that cannot be confirmed. It's on the Broker's head if it was misleading. Too bad it did not have some confirming paperwork. It might have very well been legit but you got to have confirmation. The actual owner is a 85 yr. old Dr. who is liquidating his belongings. The story I got.

In raw form many would see the firearm as "ruined" by modifications. I'd think it a nice shooter for sure. It's listed at double it's real value in my view.
