That area west of Pinedale is full of yotes and prairie dogs.
Start your trip in the foothills of the Unita range in Evanston and follow the Bear River north to Cokeville Wyo, cross border junction into the lower star valley area. Follow it north to Freedom Wyo and be sure to visit the Freedom Arms shop. Cross over into Idaho and come on down to Soda Springs, and take a bit of time fishing the Blackfoot Res. Get here early enough and we can find you a rockchuck or two. Proceed on south and you are back following the Oregon Trail where you entered the Star Valley. Its great country with a rich history
