...kind of goes along with that thought

Reality is not fun to face, but it does not truly ever go away. I am more often considering my blessed age and hope it all continues for some time. If God granted me say, 20 more years, what do I really expect to do with my accumulated firearms collection? I can mentally justify some, the “African” rifle (etc.), in case the bug comes on me again. A man needs a sense of "hope" in his life. It can be used for other game too, so I can say it’s a certain keeper. Hey, I shoot cast bullets out of it too. Others I realize are of little interest to my boys and I’m not likely to really mess with them too much, ever. I’ve culled much of the long gun inventory that takes up so much valuable safe space. But I still have a BUNCH!

Some just simply bring pleasure or memories. I’ve always liked handguns and they neither take up much space, nor eat very much. That has value too. Other projects, I’ve not gotten to in the last decade, maybe I should part ways and parley into something else. What is the wisdom from the aged on accumulated possessions? I look around and acknowledge my blessings, it didn’t happen all at once. Goodness what was I thinking?! It’s just stuff but brought happy diversion for a while. Maybe I need to categorize things that I REALLY like.
