We picked up a couple of special guns in a recent

estate. I thought seriously about keeping them but I have way too many 22 revolvers as it is and they need to go to a collector.
The first one is a S&W pre-model 17, known then as the K-22 Masterpiece. Obviously chambered in 22 LR with the fully adjustable sights. The gun is in excellent condition. I didn't do anything to it other than wiping some dust off it where it had been sitting in a drawer. The gun needs a good cleaning but it is smooth and in 85 to 90% condition. If you have ever wanted a special 22 LR revolver this is your baby. The gun is in all original condition. The book shows the price at $895 to $950 according to the date of manufacture. I have the gun priced at $795.

OK, if that pre-17 didn't get your attention, here is another very special 22 LR for you. This is the Colt Officer's Model Target. This is one of the top of the line 22 LRs from Colt and extremely hard to find. This is the only one I have seen in at least 30 years. This beauty, like the S&W above is in 85 to 90% condition, just needs a good cleaning. The old gentleman that owned these probably hadn't shot them in 20 years or more. This is the 6" tapered barrel with the special adjustable front sight. The gun is all original and locks up tight as a new one. I thought very seriously about hanging on to this one but it would just sit in my safe and gather dust, so a serious 22 shooter gets a chance at this one. The book value on this one runs from $895 to $1050 according to which book you read. I have it priced at $795.
