After one week solid soaking with Kroll (give Mr. Kroll the Nobel Peace prize please!), applying heat, and a best quality thin Craftsman screwdriver I got it apart. Kiss my butt it not only is missing the flat spring but the screw too! Dead in the water. I found a whole trigger assy with all the parts for around $50 delivered. I just think that’s the direction, I could sell the surplus.

It’s pretty amazing the old gun is quite serviceable even missing those parts! The Brits are quite proud of the old .455 (ACP needs to be downloaded a might and a fat .454 slug used) since it has 2/3 the “puissance” of our US .45. It shoots fine, the cylinder can just rotate backward if it’s hammer is at rest.
