my normal hunting handgun is a 9" 41 GNR in a custom G-2 frame. A lot of the guys on here have seen that little handgun with a 210 grain 41 caliber bullet take several Bison bulls, a couple of Yak bulls, a couple of Watusi bulls,and a few other critters and most with one shot. So in most cases unless you are hunting dangerous game your 480 will take anything in the lower 48 and most of the animals in Alaska and Africa too with proper bullet placement.
