mostly cast 252 gr cup points with or with out PC
usually over GNR load of H110 29 gr. also sometimes 29 gr of 4227. Less bang and wang but where is the fun in that?
have not gotten my lighter cast bullets to do nearly as well as the 250 +grains have. No surpise my favorite revolver round is a .,41 mag
I've shot them but never had one myself, the .429 for me.

But I like the longer case neck for loading. The 255 and 265 gr. FNGC are my favored .41 bullets. I do have a couple .41 GNR's and the .429 GNR picks it up from there with 265 to 310 gr. bullets. But in performance it would be hard to tell from the .410 GNR and .429 GNR.
I'd be amiss to not mention the .401 GNR that is a baby .410 GNR on the .44 Mag case, necked to .400. It can manage 135 gr. jacketed to 230 gr. FNGC and it's a hoot!

i do like the longer neck i can lightly crimp the the bullet with out loosing any neck tension unlike the 429 .i do prefer the 250-270 hardcast bullets for a 41 . i have a 41 gnr in a contender and a blackhawk 429 gnr in a stealthawk and a encore and a 41gnr#2 in a encore.and now a trailhawk in 410 gnr. with the 429gnr in the revolver i mainly use 240g jacketed bullets anything heaver than 255 i get bullet pull and that will only let me get off 3 or 4 rounds before the cylinder drags or locks up from bullet creep. the encore loves the heaver bullets
On the short neck cartridges do not use

the middle die, the expander die.
Just barely touch the mouth of the case with a neck chamfering tool, This allows the bullet to sit in the mouth of the case without expanding the neck of the case.

About a second in the mouth of the case, just enough to shine the mouth of the case will do and leaves the tension in the neck of the case.
The electric tool or the manual hand held tool will work.
