we had an extreme wind storm to blow thru, with wind gusts up to 60 mph. A few days before that we had our first frost or last front according to how you look at it. But it hit 30 degrees and stayed there for about an hour, long enough to kill a lot of plants and shrivel up the leaves on a couple of our trees out front. And our monsoon weather is scheduled to start this week with 3 to 4 inches of rain each afternoon thru Labor Day. Then about a month after that our first snow usually hits in mid October. So it never gets boring around here, that is until we get 6 or 7 feet of snow overnight.
