A good time to get a tan. This heat wave that is covering
the southern U.S from coast to coast is really hurting a lot of folks. Here in Flagstaff at 7000 feet (in town) we seldom hit 90. Out where I live at the foot of the mountain at 8000 feet it rarely hits 88. But today they are forecasting 95 for here in town,98 tomorrow, 100 on Saturday, 101 on Sunday and 106 on Monday. Most of the houses in Flagstaff do not have air conditioning as we always have the cool breeze off the mountain plus the monsoon that normally starts July 4th cools everything off with showers every afternoon thru Labor Day. But even the Monsoon is not cooperating. It is already over a week late and no showers yet.
Down in Phoenix they say it will hit 130 by Sunday, already 120 to 125 and if it hits 106 on Monday here in Flag it may well hit 135 in Phoenix. And of course the Libs are blaming it on the Republicans and of course climate change is also our fault.
