Driveway to the house. She had finished working on one section and moved to the next. She bent over where the snake was hunting at most 30 inches from her face. She fortunately, saw the yellow head and drew back. If that snake was a normal timber rattler with a black head she would not have seen snake. Additionally, once she saw the snake after the fact, examined the fangs, she was quite shaken. Snake was estimated between 6 and 8 years old. Thnks for the comments.
