Next is an unusual one to say the least. Thru the years I have worked to find a gripframe that pointed like pointing your finger, kept your knuckle away from the trigger guard and felt perfect in your hand. My Gunfighter Grip is good for that, as is my Magnum and Magnum XL gripframe. But I still wanted something a little different. I finally found it and it sure is different. The gripframe is a true half breed, as it is half of one grip and half of another, hence our name for it...Half Breed. Old Elmer Keith came up with his baby by making it half of a single action army and half of a Bisley gripframe. So I did sort of the same thing, half of one gripframe chopped up and half of another gripframe mated to the first one....our Half Breed. It may seem to be an ugly cousin but it sure feels good in the hand. And I borrowed a little something from my good friend John Taffin in the name of this particular gun, the Perfect Packin' Pistol, as that is exactly what it is. The new Half Breed gripframe is a bit longer than most, but angles back around so the gun points just like pointing your finger. It has the Bisley trigger to get your finger more in line with the gripframe. The gun has had the Positive Performance Package and is smooth and slick. It has the interchangeable blade front sight with the gold bead blade for more accurate shooting. The gun has a 4½" barrel for easier packing, although it can be ordered with whatever barrel length you want. The gun is finished in a Gun Metal Grey finish and overall (to me) looks great. Even though the gun isn't marked so, it is the prototype of a new series, the Half Breed. The gun is priced at a special price of $2195. Future guns will be built and highly modified on a Ruger Blackhawk or Super Blackhawk base gun and by the way the Half Breed can be done in stainless too. SOLD
