The gun looks good and is made in Georgia. Almost a copy of the Marlin 30-30.

and as far as I know they are still making it in 454. I have seen a couple of them at the HHC. Teresa McClure has one and has used it very well on several critters. She is signed up for the HHC so maybe if you make the hunt she will let you shoot it.

Seriously, though - it's good to see a major manufacturer turn out reasonably affordable (taking into account recent rampant inflation) traditional style 30 WCF rifles. You can also trick them out in "tacticool" format - if that's what floats your boat. I'll stick with traditional, thank you very much.
