for the .45 ACP. I have been testing them with fairly heavy loads, trying to find a load for the coming Zombie Apocalypse. I think these are gonna work!
The bullet is a cast flat nose of 230 grains.

I loaded some with 9.0 gr. Blue Dot and some with 10.6 gr. of Blue Dot. I fired them in my old ATI and in the Ruger SR1911 Shootists gun.

Recoil of the 10.6 gr. load is fairly stout for the ACP. I am sure if a lot of these loads were run it would batter the gun. But they are not practice loads. They are for serious.
