A week or so ago we announced a new series of very special revolvers. Years ago Elmer Keith's gunsmith friend chopped up a couple of frames, one for the single action army and the other for the Colt Bisley and came up with Keith's #5 revolver.
A few weeks back on a Sunday I was working here in my shop and decided to do the same as Keith's gunsmith and mate together 2 totally different frames and come up with a completely different series of handguns. This new series if our Half Breed series. It is totally different and everyone that has handled it has said it feels perfect in the hand. The angle of the dangle makes a lot of difference and that plus removing a lot of metal to change the design makes this new Half Breed something special. This gun will be available in our satin Vapor Honed black finish and in our satin Vapor Honed stainless steel. The gun will be a bit plain to some with no special fancy engraving or other special features, just a good solid, extremely accurate handgun. Right now we are planning on building it in either 4, 4½, or 5" barrels. Both guns will have our normal Positive Performance Package and will be smooth and accurate. Here is the satin black Half Breed...And when we showed this one as the prototype of the series Winn Turner bough it. So the satin black Half Breed is sold.

Here is the stainless Half Breed. It is still up for grabs as we just finished it this morning. It is satin Vapor Honed stainless with Ivory Corian grips. It, like the Half Breed above has the Positive Performance Package and is very smooth and accurate.

With all the special work on this new series it should be priced a bit under $3000 but I have it specially priced at the same as the blued version at $2195.

Another new 44 in our Avenger series just finished. This beauty is a brass and blued version of our new Avenger. It is a black powder revolver in 44 caliber. The gun is fully engraved and slicked up inside and out. The barrel is also full engraved and blued. It is high polished and has a set of black Corian grips made and fit to it. This beauty should be priced somewhere around $1995 but I have it priced at $895.
