A PERFECT MORNING

As you have read I have been in the process of putting Remington in the dovetail front sight blades on all of my Colt-style replicas. This morning I was working with Pocket Pistols. These blades are usually quite high compared to original little none of on the Colts. I figured I could take at least half off the blade so I did that with the grinder at home and then did some file work figuring out about how high the blade should be. I shot three this morning that I had already filed the blades down and would you believe two were dead on and one was 1 inch high. Mathematics sometimes works!

Always a hood feeling when a plan comes together!

So installing either onto a Colt makes not much difference as one is cutting a new dovetail anyway. :-)
