Pop the trigger group out of the frame (Youtube will help) and check for proper lube and no burrs. The trigger group assy also holds the cylinder crane in place. That looks too much slop to me. A little wiggle is needed to operate.

The operation can be a little bit of a booger the first time you do it but once you know, you know. I have an entire extra cylinder and crane for my Super. I can swap from .429 GNR back to .44 Spec./Mag in about 5 minutes. It makes the custom a very versatile rig.

These are the parts you need to examine and make sure the plungers etc. are working correctly.
