Reeder Custom Guns - A friend who lives 120 miles north of me

Called me on Sunday evening to tell me he was coming down Monday and had a rifle stock he wanted to show me. He showed up early this morning with an absolutely beautiful hand made exotic wood stock with beautiful checkering, exceptional grain and it was going to be going on a pre-64.270 Winchester for his daughter. It come down because he placed a brass shield behind the pistol grip on the bottom and he wanted to have it engraved. We visited for quite a while and then he took off to get the work done. I got a call from him. The engraver would not do the work because it was a gun. No it was just a piece of wood. This shows you along with many other things how Boise Idaho has changed over the past 50+ years.

the classrooms in this day and age.

Our society has abandoned common sense and I do not like what I see coming down the road. The engraver issue is a great example of how much silliness there is in society.

It gets worse in some cases.

A while back, one of my female students corrected me. She told me," I go by he and him". She considers herself "male". She is not a bad young lady, just mixed up in plain English.

I could go on and on about this, but it just depresses me to see so many young people destroy themselves like this and evil people making a profit off of it.

Absolutely Ridiculous …… I used to want to be younger with the knowledge I have now…..
Now I’m not so sure I would want to be around another 40/50 years the way this country / world is headed.

I sent my kids to private Christian schools and even though they wavered a little as young adults, they seem to have "righted the ship" as they matured.

their inspiration in their younger years. The schools are good but it is what they are around during those after hours at home and elsewhere.
