Every once in a while I have folks ask about how the guns

are worked on and such so I thought I would show a couple of pics of a Big Horn Hunter for one of the Misfits. This gun started life on a Marlin 1894 in decent shape. We put a new 16½" barrel on it, slicked up the insides, high polished the outsides and chambered the barrel to 44 Magnum. We fit new ghost ring sights to the gun. We widened up the loop a bit for use with gloved hands. We installed a Decelerator pad on it to keep the recoil down. We high polished the gun and engraved the normal Big Horn Hunter critters on it plus engraved his name on the bolt.
In the pictures I still have a bit of engraving to do on it and then it will be ready to do the deluxe Black Chromex finish on it this weekend. The finish is so high polished that it is picking up reflections of anything around it, so ignore them.
