Well, the government confiscated the citizens gold April 5, 1933 by executive directive of FDR. It took 40 years to restore your ability to own gold. December 31, 1974 Gerald R. Ford (birth name Leslie Lynch King Jr) issued Executive Order 11825. Why wouldn't they try to confiscate food in order to have control? Every communist/marxist gov't has used famine and starvation to control and eradicate undesirable populations. Think that couldn't happen here? Thank GOD for giving the founders the wisdom to craft the 2nd Amendment.
