I personally believe the powers that be are so desperate that they will attempt to incite literal civil war and unrest, complete chaos. This is because they know they are losing and will do literally ANYTHING to maintain any form of tyrannical control they can. They ramp things up.
The biggest concerns as 2A Patriots are NATO and Domestic Emergency Power clauses. Trying to suspend personal rights for the greater good. They can let loose some bio-bugs or declare some emergency situation and take away all your rights. So they hope.
