Moderate weather has hit Central Texas! In the 80's today!!
I was on the range early with my Old Model .357 Flat Top and the USFA .44 Special.

With the .357 I had some handloads that I put together 25 years ago or so, using a 158 gr. cast SWC and some Military Surplus powder that was supposed to be the same and one of AA powders. I forget which one. My label has long since faded and I can't read it anymore. I only have 400 or 500 loaded and I need to shoot them so I can reload the cases!

The .44 Special I loaded with a 240 gr. SWC that I somehow ended up with some years ago. The front band is smaller than the Keith bullet and it has a beveled base but it is still an accurate bullet.

I loaded these over 5.0 gr. of Green Dot.

This is the worst target of the day.

And this was the best of the day.

You fire enough shots sometimes you get lucky!

It was a nice day and good one to go shooting.

Hard to find
