We hauled in a bunch of firewood after the ice-apocalypse last year. Today I finished cutting it into lengths. Now all I need to do is split the large stuff, stack it and clean up!

Several yeatrs ago I bought a log splitter from Home Depot

and it has been working perfectly ever since. It splits logs as big as a foot around and 18 to 20" in length. I can split a full cord in an afternoon.I swear by this splitter. It is an electric splitter and I have never had any problems with it.

I have split 2 foot diameter logs with it. Sure beats a sledgehammer and a wedge!
