I was blessed with another nice
Mule Deer this year.
This years hunt could not have been scripted any closer to last years hunt if I would have tried....Second day of the season, sat in exactly the same spot, 4:45 pm within a couple minutes of last year, and 46 yards, within a yard or two of last year.
This is a transition area between bed and feed. I got sat down about 2:00 and my Son Jason joined me about 3:00. Jason was just giving the old man moral support as he shot a nice 4x4 during muzzle loader season. This guy came in way to our left but crossed in front of us going to feed.
As always I used the 455GNR with a LBT LFN HP bullet cast from 60% pure lead and 40% wheel weights that were water dropped and a bit of IMR 4227.
