including all the odd military ammo like 7.7 Jap, 7.65 Argentine and so on. Even the 44 Auto Mag ammo and brass. So I vaguely remember carrying the 38 Special Magnum. That was years ago, probably mid to late 1985 or so.

their officers. And some agencies didn't allow the 357 Mag, but the 38 special magnums made sense. Then the Glock came out and pretty much killed the carrying of revolvers including the 38 Magnum.
