of bunny hunting. I haven't taken any time off lately so tomorrow is the day. I need to dig my 28 gauge Ruger Red Label out, and make sure it is ready for some bunnies.

Rabbits are considered varmints here and the season is open all year long. The 28 gauge is good for cotton tails but may be a bit weak for the big jack rabbits we have here. Our jack rabbits are the size of a large house cat. Hopefully I will find out on Sunday. Our squirrel season is also open and my CZ 512 22 magnum semi auto is the gun for that.

But for bunnies the 28 gauge is the gun.

was too light for sport shooting and kicked the fire out of me. The heavier Citori worked better for me and my swing. But in the field I'd delight in your 28! I tried the Franchi auto and it is a beast even in 28 gauge when you shoot it 100 times in a row!
