You seemed really enamored with it, as you should have been back then! At the time it was unworldly I remember! The FA's are something really special, the fitment, and design for severe duty. I'm not sure when Bob sort of took over the reins from his Pop, but nothing seems to have suffered. I don't think the FA2008 has set the world on fire as it was hoped, but it is a good platform and has found a niche. I have one, suitably GNR'd to .378 GNR. Bob developed the M97 that is a true pleasure too. I had one at one time and would love one in .41 Mag.

I found a M83 in .454 and had GNR mod it for me and my collection. A true SA fanatic handgunner just needs one. The LGS today had a like new in box M83 6-shot .357 5-1/2", not sure if they really make those any more?! Only $2500, and referencing current retail quite the bargain! One thing is certain and sure with any FA handgun, if the bullet misses it's mark, it's all on you!
