big assortment of holsters I ran across something that was a bit of an embarrassment. It was a Contender holster that I had butchered up to fit one of my Auto Mags. There were no holsters for the Auto Mags when they first came out so we had to make do. And I sure did "make do" with this one. I cut it up for the trigger guard and then for the scope on the frame and so on. There wasn't much original left of it after I finished "making do". I even camo'd it a bit which just made it even uglier. I guess we all do stuff like that and I sure ruined a good Contender holster but it held my Auto Mag so that's all that matters.

scoped revolvers. I would go to the Jewish leather shops in lower Manhattan that are long gone, and buy leftover finished leather for scope cover on holster... Had a snap kit:-)

Yep. Done that every once in awhile. Sometimes it worked.
