We got in an interesting single shot pistol
this morning. The Wichita Arms handguns were very well made and super nice handguns for handgun hunters and those in silhouette matches. The owner of this gun left it in a closed up wooden case with foam rubber covered with a velvet type covering. He checked it from time to time (he said he had looked at it 4 years ago and it was OK). But time took it's toll on this beauty. Now we have to see if we can bring it back to life. For those who are not familiar with this, the foam rubber in gun cases puts out a vapor that will ruin the gun if left closed up. If you put your gun in a case with the foam, put a towel between the foam and your gun and if possible leave the case open to let the gun breathe.
