Here is one you very seldom find. This is a Star PD

in our Perfect Packing Pistol series. There were only a few of these in this short series made as the guns themselves were hard to find. John Taffin, Jim Taylor and I all carry one but other than that they are seldom seen. The PD is one of the most reliable 45s made. I have carried mine since 1978. This PD is a custom one with a bit of engraving, an action job and a set of Pachmayr grips. The gun is two toned with the lightweight frame and deluxe blued slide with fire blue small parts. The gun functions perfectly as all the PDs I have shot do. A standard plain jane PD usually runs in the $550 to $600 range when you can find one. I have this special PD specially priced at $795.
