if it is not listed as "one of the fastest cartridges ever" or "has the power to put down the largest animals known to man" and so on then it will not be a popular cartridge. When I hear that from one of the younger shooters, I point to the 75 or 80 mounts on the wall or on the floor and tell them that all these were taken with handguns. They just say "yeah right" and walk out still looking for the fastest cartridge ever developed for hunting.
