Reeder Custom Guns - Do you have some OM Ruger .357 size cylinders or the

ability to make them for OM .357 frame guns? I have my .38/40 custom and may want a .40 0r 10mm cylinder of some sort fitted to it. You may remember the gun. I have lots of extra cylinders and don't use them too much, but it seems a worthy way to spend money.

*I can't find it now but I saw a guy who bored through a large bore cylinder and soldered in "rifled" barrel sections chambered for a smaller caliber. Shooting from the 1.5" rifled section not even touching the large bore. Crazy! It was actually on a European pistol of an odd caliber to start, converted to a domestic caliber (like .32 S&W short) must have been long ago!

And I wanted a Colt New Frontier barrel mounted to it. I never could get the right barrels and sold them to Mr. Taffin (I think). Mr. Taffin has some conversion like that and Gary later figured how to do it on later two-pin guns. Anyway we ended up going with a .400 barrel and I had Gary re-chamber the .357 cylinder to .38-40 Win. I have a couple guns in that caliber too. Brass can be hard to find but you can neck-down .44-40 brass too. But it is also spotty to find sometimes.
