I just can’t do it!

Handguns are easier. Getting scope crosshairs straight without canting. I have resorted to aligning the turrets correct and straight with the gun and chassis. If it’s not straight after that, and it seldom is, it must be my head on crooked. I know they make devices to help but I can’t see that changing much. The optic performance does not seem to suffer in metering adjustments.

Oh well…

I have a double astigmatism in my right eye. It stems from a detached retina. All my scopes are a little crooked but doest affect anything.

My left eye has astigmatim.

Open sights, using the left eye the front sight leans to the left. It's straight with the right eye.
