A blast from the past, another world, another time

When men were men and knew things...

I was entrusted with this rare kit first advertised in the 1959 Lyman #41 annual catalog. We had it on display at the last HHC in TN. It has been used mostly as a teaching device. On occasion I do actually have a working set of these tools I use for enjoyment. There is a 1958 magazine add that illustrated it for sale. The kit is quite complete with fantastic instructions that make sense and are devoid of language restricted and directed by fear of litigation. Common sense was actually that.

I thought it would be a timely thing to consider here, some (65) years later. How far have we come?!

I still reload with them once in awhile ... especially if I am only going to reload a few shells. Dad started me out with the 310 Tool. Later, when Richard Lee started with his little Lee Loader I got several of them and still have a couple. I liked the 310 Tool better but used both.
