Doubling the powder and adding another 500 fps past ultra-magnum velocities I don't know. I don't doubt JD, he has lots of experience too. I pushed the .440 GNR to 2300+ fps but I was using heavy 300-325 gr. bullets with thick jackets, not "normal" pistol bullets.
That little .41 Sierra is tough, and certainly does the job for you.
