Glad I got those extra heat lamps for th hen house as the

chickens. I thanked them for that but my question wasn't about how to raise chickens as I have been raising chickens and ducks for probably 20 years, maybe a bit more. The question was the use of 2 or 3 hot 250 watt heat bulbs in a somewhat small chicken house. The box it came in mentioned over and over to be careful as the danger of a fire existed by using this bulb. Anyway I had no problems over the last 2 nights, one at a minus 2 and this morning's minus 3 degrees. It wasn't overly warm in the hen house this morning but was comfortable and the hens didn't complain.
