Any thoughts on Blue Dot or Power pistol...180 gr XTP or 200 gr powder coated Missouri Bullet...Thanks for imput!

What platform are you launching these 180s from?

Speer manual #14 lists 10 grains to start and max of 11 grains @ 1295fps for their 180 grain bullets with BlueDot. Shooters Reference has pretty good load data.
Oh and the Speer people used a S&W 1006 with 5” barrel. Use caution, chambers vary in support at rear of the chamber on semi-autos, you probably knew that already.. i haven’t used power pistol in 10mm.

I’ve had great luck using AA#7 and Tight Group

With cast bullets in 10mm. Mostly in a Glock 20 type platform with 6” broach cut rifled barrel. I’m shooting mostly 0.401” 215 gr. FNGC, but some 230 gr. too. The polygonal types need a much larger diameter cast bullet to work best, like 0.403”. If that will chamber reliably. That’s one reason they don’t recommend cast in that type of bore. FWIW

Kase is the 10mm Guru.

Yep, AA7 and Longshot are top performers even

800X was very good in my 10MM's.
I have Kase Ultimate 10MM-6" that is on Gary's website with the checkered grips and SS-Caspian frame and slide, a very nice setup and bank vault tight.

Back many moons ago Kase and I were real big in the 10mm

We had several Bren Tens and Kase's 10mm Long Slide. On the very first HHC, our Hot & Nasty down in Texas Kase shot a big hog with his 10mm Long Slide. The bullet hit the hog in the ass and ended under the skin of his shoulder, and the hog kept going. I think Kase shot him 2 or 3 more times before the big hog gave up. The 10mm has been one of our favorites for years.

I meant "Longshot" NOT Tite Group for 10mm

In my long slide 10mm I use a lot of Blue Dot.

10 grains with a 180 caused cratering. 9 grains with the 180 FMJ works fine.
