Something to get your mind off the weather

I mentioned a while back that we would start taking names and reservations for our new spring HHC right after the first of the year. So here we are. We already have 5 or 6 names on the list and are currently taking names for the hunt.

Several years back we had a spring and a fall HHC (our Handgun Hunter's Challenge). We had the spring hunt a bit early and we ran into some problems with the weather in March. So we dropped it and concentrated on our fall hunt, usually in the latter part of September or early October.

The HHC has become so popular that I decided to bring the spring hunt back but make it the first weekend in May. That way no problem with the weather.
So this year our spring HHC is May 2 thru 5. A lot of folks had said they couldn't make the fall hunt as that was when they did most of their deer hunting so it was the HHC or the regular deer hunt.

Our hunt is called the HHC or Handgun Hunter's Challenge but it is not just for handgun hunters. You can hunt with whatever you like. The hunt is in our normal place, the Wilderness Hunting Lodge in Monterey Tennessee. Alan Wilson, the head honcho goes out of his way to give us a great hunt and one of the nicest lodges in the south. Plus the food is top of the line too. Alan's prices are right where they should be with no charge for the food and lodging.
As we have said before the HHC is not just a hunt, it is a gathering of friends.

If you want to have a great spring hunt, join us this May 2-5. You are welcome to bring a wife or lady friend or youngster too. You will have a great time and meet some fine folks. As we get closer to May I will be showing you pictures of the lodge, the hunting areas and the animals that are normally found there. Our HHC normally has 50 to 60 hunters show up and most of them are regulars on here so they can answer any questions you might have and I am sure they will be happy to show off the critters they have hunted and the guns they used.
