I've not really followed the Shot Show

lots of accessories for the above guns. Red dots for every kind of firearm. AR-15s that look like an AK-47 and AK-47s that look like an AR-15 and cost more than the new S&W 44 Magnum rifle. Holsters for AR-15s. Special holsters for the various new version of the Browning Hi Power. New versions of the Browning Hi Power that don't look anything like the BHP. And of course no mention of the 65 full custom BHPs that that Reeder company came out with over the past 3 years and didn't quite cost what the new S&W 44 Magnum rifle cost. Many scopes that cost more than the new limited version of the S&W 44 Magnum rifle. New revolvers that look like something that was designed in Germany in the early '60s (from Henry). Korth revolvers that look like something a drunk designed in the early '60s but cost more that the S&W 44 Magnum rifle mentioned above. Thermal binocs that cost more than the S&W 44 Magnum rifle mentioned above. Air rifles that look just like an AR-15 that are going to get somebody shot by the cops. Very large caliber (as in 50 caliber) air rifles that cost more than the S&W 44 Magnum rifle mentioned above. A lot of small revolvers meant for concealed carry. Most don't cost as much as the S&W 44 Magnum rifle mentioned above. Some neat new revolvers from Ruger including the new Super Redhawk in 22 Hornet that hopefully won't come back and bite them in the arse (the 22 Hornet has the tendency to back out in a cylinder and lock it up). 22 K-Hornet works fine. Ruger has the new 45 ACP carbine that looks good and doesn't cost anywhere near what the S&W 44 Magnum rifle mentioned above costs. Ruger/Marlin's new model 336 in 30-30 due this year and it doesn't cost anywhere near what the new S&W 44 Magnum rifle costs. Several companies specializing in low power scopes (that doesn't make a bit of sense to me, like bringing back the Studebaker). Knives up the kazoo which would be a painful place to carry one. Lots of exotic (a new word for ugly) rifles which cost as much as the S&W 44 Magnum rifle. Several new cartridges that are touted to be the greatest, fastest, most powerful etc etc etc that go in the new exotic rifles mentioned above and most with price tags that are more than the S&W 44 Magnum rifle. Lots and lots of new suppressors (silencers to us old goats).
All this was just a very small portion of the new items that cost more than the new S&W 44 Magnum rifle.

announcement from the new Remington, now called RemArms that they have departed officially from the northeast and have a new plant in LaGrange Georgia. Smart move.
