A loss of 500-600 fps over a rifle. There is only about 100-150 fps difference in the .222-.223 in most reloading manuals. And seems you can form .222 from .223 as well. I was not sure about that.
Your .224 WBY was somewhere close to a .22-250 improved and .220 Swift! Bet it made quite the racket!
