Well, we are roughly 2 months from our spring HHC

This new HHC (just a little new as we had our first one back in 2007 and on for a few years) is May 2 thru 5. It will be at the usual place, the Wilderness Hunting Lodge in Monterey Tennessee.

This HHC, being in the spring should be a really interesting one. All of our HHCs have been great hunts and this one should be the same. We are also doing something a bit different in this HHC. A few years back we had a Big Bore/Big Boar HHC. Alan had some big hogs there and we suggested that everyone bring a big bore rifle or handgun, maybe a gun they haven't shot in a long time. We all have some sort of big monster sitting in our safe gathering dust. Now is the time to dig it out and hunt a big hog with it.

Now if you would rather not bring a big bore that is no problem. bring whatever you like and shoot whatever you like. This should be a great time to fill up the freezer with a lot of fresh meat and have a great time while you are doing so.

Also remember anyone can hunt in our HHC. Bring a buddy, your wife or youngsters and just have a great weekend. The food will be good as always and no hidden charges for the hunt, the lodging or the food. We normally have 45 to 50 hunters and there is usually a couple of tables full of guns to look at and admire. If you haven't signed up for the spring HHC, call Sandy at the lodge and sign up.
