and can be made into about any centerfire .22 cal. The 10" octagons make a very attractive gun. Ditto if you could find a rimfire .17 HRM barrel (expensive to begin), could be a .17 K-Hornet if you really wanted one bad.

The .22 K-Hornet has easily twice the neck it really needs. I have wondered that you did not give it the old Reeder max. body treatment. Maybe a grain or grain-and-half extra? But that is actually a 10-15% increase over the std. Just interesting. But then again, there are so many .22's. Plus we are getting too old to finger such small things on the load bench.

The TCU's are not very loved and could be an attractive option!
