A special rifle for those that want something

really special. Several years ago we built a series of our African Classic. One of the calibers was the 275 Rigby which is the same as the 7X57 or 7mm Mauser. The 7mm Mauser was a very popular rifle in Africa years ago and still is. The cartridge is one of the most popular for plains game.

We had this rifle on display at several custom shows. We didn't let anyone work the action. We sold 9 rifles in this series of 10 guns if I am not mistaken. This was our prototype and display gun. The gun was built on the Ruger super strong action. The stock is custom and has a rosewood forend tip, and grip cap and has a Decelerator butt pad. The rifle has had an action job and is smooth as silk. It has the 3 leaf express rear sight and the white bead on the barrel band front sight. The gun has several African animals engraved on it and is finished in our deluxe Black Chromex finish. At the shows we took orders for guns in this series and it was priced at $1995 on their base Ruger or $2895 if we furnished the base gun. This is the display gun and was not for sale. It is time to clear out some of our special guns and this is one of them. The gun has not been fired other than me test firing it. This gun would normally be priced at $2895 but I have it specially priced at $1795.
