I wanted to see what the actual size of the 9mm was compared to the actual size of the .45 ACP.

So I did the math (with the help of the internet) and figured out that the total square inches of the 9mm
(.356")is 0.099529 square inches.

The total square inches of the .45 ACP (.452") is 0.160466 square inches.

The area of .452" is 46.875% larger than .356"! The .45 ACP is just slightly less than 50% larger than the 9mm.

Does that make it better?

Well most likely the answer is yes and no.

But I prefer the larger one. My preference.
