a rimmed 9mm. All the same as a standard 9mm round except it had a rim on it. Federal as normal failed to promote it and it died on the vine. It wasn't something I would have been excited over but it had a chance to be a decent round with the target folks. No moon clips to worry about, just hit the ejector rod and out they come, then use a Speed Loader and you're set.
Federal has come up with some neat things thru the years but in each case they failed to promote them and they died before they even had a chance to be popular.
