I finally bit the bullet and bought a new 4X4

We had looked at about a dozen but I simply did not want to pay $65,000 or a lot more for a new truck. Looking at one of our larger car dealerships we noticed a Chevy Z71 that had just come in. It was a couple of years old but in "as new" condition. It has the big engine that I need to fight our weather and was loaded with goodies, most of which I have no idea what they do.
Anyway I went back to the shop and Colleen took my Expedition and went up to argue with them. Any time I need a new vehicle I send the redhead to "talk" with them. She never fails to get the thing done and usually at the price (or near it) that I wanted. 3 hours later she drove up with the new truck. She paid a lot more than I wanted but there was just nothing worth having at a lower price. 4 and 5 year old trucks were still at $55,000 to $60,000.
Anyway I am now a Chevy guy. I have a 1995 Chevy Z71 truck and now a 2022 Chevy Z71 truck.We now have some of each brand. Two Chevys, 2 Nissen trucks and 15 passenger van. For the first time in many years I don't have a Ford but tomorrow is another day.
