It's been over six-months since I bought a gun
a new record for at least a decade! Well I did buy a TC from Stonecold, but it don't count because I spoke for it before Christmas. I have another spoke for too, same situation so I'm not counting it either. My resolve was to focus on previous acquired and possible refinements. Hopefully shake myself from the habit and temporal thrill of the chase. It's been a good healthful diversion over the years.
I have plenty of blessings to occupy myself with! Now I need to enjoy.
Years ago when I had only 3 guns ...
I was a much better shot. I shot the .45 Colt more than either of the other 2 guns. I put thousands of rounds through it, dry-fired it, carried it everywhere. It was like an extension of my hand.
Having more gun money was not necessarily a blessing. It's not that I have not enjoyed being able to have more, but it certainly did not help my shooting ... which was a testimony to my lack of self-control.
