It is a 14+2" braked or there abouts. He wanted a very light recoiling long range rig he could use as a handgun or carbine. Boy is it slick. We never chronographed it, we were so happy with accuracy. I have one GNR made for my kids that is the same in a tapered format and 7mm-o8. Both guns have recoil like a .223, not joking at all. Loud, but no recoil at all.

I'm a 7mm guy and my buddy is a 6.5 dude. We both are happy. The .260 makes the most sense to me, I guess the Creedmore has a bit longer neck and more efficient shoulder angle, but I like the '08 based rounds. I've even made brass from '06 type rounds (actually some .270's).
