My three uncles escaped from POLAND and one joined the US Army with Patton's Third Army as a scout, and one joined the US Marines and hit the Islands as infantry, and the third was in the US Air Corps for the duration of the war. I was in the Cuban Missile Crisis and two tours in Viet Nam.
