With all the crazy things happening in the last week or so

it sort of makes one want to get behind the reloading press and load up some self defense ammo. I don't like to urge folks to go out and buy up all the ammo or reloading supplies they can but with the recent happenings all over the world, especially in North America it just seems like the thing to do.

With Russian subs sitting 30 miles off the Florida shore and dozens of Russian ships sitting out a ways doing circles it makes one wonder what is going on. Russia is as close to being bankrupt as they ever have so they really can't afford $7000 a day per ship just to do circles in the sand so to speak.

Putin has seen his military get destroyed by the Ukrainians and that has to make him want to get back at someone. We furnished most of the ammo and military might that is causing him heartburn. I am sure he feels that he needs to save face a bit and get back at someone. And we seem to be the closest "someone" that I can think of.

I have had this strong urge recently to add as much to my defense ammo at home as I ever have. I find myself taking inventory of my powder and primers along with self defense type bullets. I seem to be called to go thru my safes and just see what is in there even though I know exactly what is there. But something is quietly telling me to get ready. For what I have no idea. Is Russia planning on doing something to bring back their lost pride? If so are we talking nuclear? If it is then all the loaded ammo in the world would probably not give us one more day of life.

I find myself thinking things I haven't thought of since some of the skirmishes of the early 1990s. But they weren't thoughts as strong as the ones lately. I guess Putin's threats are doing what he intended, that being making America mentally weaker than normal. With what we have in the White House we tend to feel weaker than normal, knowing there are no guts there and should anything come of Putin's threats it will be solely up to us to do what we can to save this country of ours.

There are a lot of folks getting ready. For what I wonder if they know. But I don't know where this country is heading, I just know we need to be ready for what is ahead of us. A civil war, the second such war, may be ahead of us. An invasion of a combined Russian/Chinese force could be getting ready. Only God knows and I wonder sometimes if HE cares anymore. I wonder sometimes if I really care anymore. Our gutless leaders have led us astray in their never ending cowardice and search of more and more riches.

I try not to think of all these things but that urge to do something seems to get stronger every day. I don't know what is looking us in the face, but for now I hear my gun safe calling me. By the way, may God bless us one and all.
