protection. I would just grit my teeth for the first 2 44 magnum shots and then put these in my ears for the rest of my shooting. In 1970 I don't remember seeing any ear protection around. Working in radio at the time I eventually cut the cables off an old set of muffs used in the control room and used them as ear protection
